"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."  ~Leo Buscaglia

Today I have a very special photo shoot and I am so grateful it falls on Valentine's day. This holiday reminds me of how precious my family and friends are, but it also reminds me to care for the people around me who I don't know. If you have love in your life, protect and cherish that love. If you have family you hold dear in your heart, tell them how much they mean to you. And for the people who you pass by everyday on the street, in the grocery store, or in your neighborhood, say hello. Lend a helping hand if you are able. These days it can be hard to get past the daily stress and care for one another, but more and more I think it is essential that we do. You never know when the person next to you just needs a kind word or a hug.

On this day of love, give till your heart is ready to burst:)

Below is a photo of my parents when they first started dating. I love how sweet they are with each other. I am so grateful to have these photos in my photo album. When was the last time you took a photo of your family?
